คิง ออกบูธงานมหกรรม “มั่งคั่ง มั่งมี สินค้าเกษตรไทย – จีน” ณ อิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานี
สำนักงานมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารแห่งชาติ (มกอช.) จัดงานมหกรรม “มั่งคั่ง มั่งมี สินค้าเกษตรไทย – จีน” ขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 25 – 27 ธันวาคม 2552 ณ อิมแพ็ค เมืองทองธานี เพื่อสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับระเบียบปฏิบัติการส่งออกและนำเข้าสินค้าเกษตร ให้ผู้ผลิต ผู้ประกอบการ เพื่อพัฒนาด้านการผลิตและการค้าซึ่งกันและกัน อีกทั้งให้ผู้บริโภคทั้งไทยและจีนจะได้จับจ่ายสินค้าเกษตร ที่มีคุณภาพและราคาพิเศษ ในงานนี้ น้ำมันรำข้าวคิงน้ำมันเพื่อสุขภาพอย่างแท้จริง ได้ร่วมกิจกรรมภายในงานอีกด้วย

TRJ sponsored Red Cross Festival in Ayutthaya.
Thai Ruam Jai Vegetable Oil Co., Ltd. (TRJ) gave
King Rice Bran Oil to Thai Red Cross Society for sponsoring
Ayutthaya Red Cross Festival. The presentation was on
17 November 2009, at an administrative Office in
 Ayutthaya province.

TRJ Vegetable Oil held an annual Buddhist Ceremony.
On 28 October 2009, Thai Ruam Jai Vegetable Oil Co., Ltd.
(TRJ) an affiliated company of Thai Edible Oil Group made
merit and gave a feast to Buddhist monks at Bangsai Plant,
 Ayutthaya.

King Rice Bran Oil exhibited an informative
booth on benefits of rice bran oil. The event
was organized by Phramongkutklao Hospital,
during 18-19 November 2009.

On 15 November 2009, King Rice Bran Oil
exhibited a public relation and promotional
booth for health-conscious consumer at
Vachirabenjatas Park, Bangkok. King Rice

On the 14 November 2009, Theptarin Hospital

On 7 November 2009, King Rice Bran Oil exhibited

fair. The event was organized by Sukkhapab Dee

Hospital for Tropical Diseases organized a Healthy
Promotion Week during 3-4 November 2009. At the
event King Rice Bran Oil exhibited an informative
booth on benefits of rice bran oil as well as sponsored
“Health Menu Cooking Competition”.

King joined “Cooking Tips” Workshop at QSNCC.
King exhibited a promotional booth and had cooking
demonstration of a healthy menu of “Thai Relish Tofu

The 3 heart-friendly products joined a seminar by Thai Life Insurance Company and Samitivej Hospital.
Thai Life Insurance Company Limited together with
Semijtivech Hospital organised “Anti-aging, Tips to
the re-youth, and Health Caring” seminar.  There were
3 heart-friendly products, King Rice Bran Oil, 4Care
Cereal Cream and Select Tuna invited to demonstrate
a cooking of Stir-fried Green Curry with Tuna Canapé.
During the event King Rice Bran Oil exhibited an informative
booth as well as had products on sale at special price.
The event was held on 11 October 2009, at Smitivej
Hospital, Bangkok.

King joined “The 10th Good Health in the City” at Bangkok General Hospital
King Rice Bran Oil exhibited a public relation booth
to promote health benefits of rice bran oil. During the

King at the 19thInternational Congress of Nutrition.
Thai Edible Oil joined the 19th International Congress
of Nutrition by exhibited an informative booth. The
congress was held from 4 – 9 October 2009, at Bitech
Bangna, Bangkok. There were 3,800 nutritionists and
dieticians from many countries participated in the congress.

During the congress Thai Edible Oil made varieties of
healthy cookies that used King Rice Bran oil for the
participant to taste. The cookies received a well

Annual seminar on “Unity Drives King Rice Bran Oil”
Thai Edible Oil held the 2009 annual internal staff
seminar under the concept of “Unity Drives King Rice
Bran Oil”. There were useful knowledge from specialized
speaker passed on to the staff as well as many unity
creating activities.The seminar was held from 26-27
September 2009, at Wang Yao Riverside Resort,
Nakornnayok province.

The enjoyment and impression during the activities
 

Another highlight was “Healthy Lady and Healthy Man”
competition, which assessed the well balance of eating
and living habits. The winner was Ms. Jarunee Sangkarat
from Accounting department and Mr. Patcharapat
Boonsirikieat from Sales department.

King joined “Innomart 2009” at IMPACT Challenger, Muang Thong Thani
On the 1-4 October 2009, Ministry of Science and
Technology hosted “Innomart 2009” at IMPACT
Challenger, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. At this
opportunity King Rice Bran oil, the winner of the
National Innovation Awards 2006 in Economics,
exhibited an informative both and had King Rice
Bran Oil on sale at promotional price.

The Heart Foundation of Thailand under the Royal
Patronage organized “The 23rd, Thai Heart Week”
during 15-20 September, 2009 at Central Pinklao
Department Store, Bangkok, which Her Highness
Princess Somsavali Phravararajatinuddamatu gave
an honorable opening.
       With this opportunity, King Rice Bran Oil, the
true health oil, was invited to exhibit an informative

On the 3 September 2009, King Rice Bran Oil joined “The
Truth about Lipid” Seminar at Theptharin Hospital. In the
picture, Mr. Suriya Thanapongworasakul, Product Manager
gave King Rice Bran Oil Set to Prof. Dr. Thep Himathongkam,
the Director of Theptharin Hospital.

King at “Food Safety and Current Economy” Fair
During 26-30 August 2009, King Rice Bran Oil exhibited
a promotional booth at “Food Safety and Current Economy
Fair”. There were many people visited the booth and asked
lots of health related questions. The event was organized
by Sen Tang Sed Tee Magazine, Matichon Group and
National Food Institute, which was held at MCC Hall
The Mall Department Store, Bangkapi, Bangkok.

On 23 August 2009, King Rice Bran Oil exhibited
a promotional booth at Vachirabenjatas Garden
(Suan Rot Fai) where King Rice Bran Oil was well
accepted by health-conscious consumers.  A lot of

Second Year of 30th Anniversary Scholarship from King Rice Bran Oil
On 13th August 2009, Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit (left),
the Marketing Director of Thai Edible Oil, on behalf of
King Rice Bran Oil gave King’s 30th Anniversary
Scholarship to Mrs. Palida Kulrungroj (third from right),
Director of Education Area Office, Ayutthaya Zone2.
      The Scholarship was initiated last year to celebrate
King Rice Bran Oil the 30th Anniversary. The aim is to
expand education opportunity of the selected students
in the Ayutthaya education Area Zone 2.

King at Thailand Health and Wellness Fair
King Rice Bran Oil exhibited a promotional and
informative booth at Thailand Health and Wellness Fair.
There were lots of health-conscious consumers visited
the booth to receive plenty of information on benefits of
rice bran oil and to buy King Rice Bran Oil at special price.

Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit, the Marketing Director of
Thai Edible Oil gave a talk on “Health Benefits of
Rice Bran Oil”. At the same event Chef Peter Lai,
the Vice President – Chinese Cuisine of Thai Chef’s
Association, and an Executive Chef of Impact
Muang Thong Thani, demonstrated a healthy menu
“Sichuan Noodle Salad”. There were many people
interested in the talk as well as the cooking demonstration.
The event was held during 23-26 July 2009, at Hall 5-6
Impact Muang Thong Thani.

On the 30 June 2009, Sukkapab Dee Magazine held
their 1st Anniversary as well as the “1st Good Health Fit”
Event at Central World Department Store, Bangkok.
During the event Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit, the Marketing
Director and Mr. Suriya Thanapongworasakul, Product
Manager of Thai Edible Oil had an opportunity in presenting
health benefits of King Rice Bran Oil.

Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit welcomed Mr. Stefan Santi

“Good Nutrition Good Health” Seminar by King and Chiang Rai Regional Hospital.
On 10 June 2009, King Rice Bran Oil in collaboration
with Chiang Rai  Regional  Hospital  oraganised 
“Good Nutrition Good Health” seminar. At the event
Dr. Supak Pithipakorn (middle) Deputy Director in charge
of Medical Services of Chiang Rai Regional Hospital gave
 an honourable opening speech. He also took photo with
other speakers, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Munthana Pradipasen
(2nd from left), Lecturer, Nutrition Department, Faculty of
Public Health, Mahidol University and Sub-committee of
the “Thai Food Good Heart” Program, and Mr. Pravit
Santiwattana (2nd from right), the Executive Director of
Thai Edible Oil.

There were 270 people joined the seminar. The
participants were physicians, nurses, nutritionists, hospital
officers, teachers, staffs and students from local school,
as well as Chiang Rai health-conscious residences.

“Get Closer with Health and Nutrition Trend” seminar
On 11 June 2009, Thai Edible Oil in collaborations with
Phrae Hospital oraganised  “Get Closer with Health and
Nutrition Trend” seminar. At the event Dr. Sanya Somjai
(2nd from left) Deputy Director in charge of  Medical
Services of Phrae Hospital gave an honourable opening
speech. He also took photo with other speakers,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Munthana Pradipasen (left), Lecturer,
Nutrition Department, Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol
University and Sub-committee  of  the  “Thai Food
Good Heart” Program, and Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (right),
the Executive Director of Thai Edible Oil.

There were 220 people joined in the seminar. The
participants included physicians, nurses, hospital officers,
member of heart foundation, lecturers and educational
institutes.

Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit, the Marketing Director of
King Rice Bran Oil presented a token of appreciation
to Ms. Chanisa Chomsinn, Head of News and Program
Department, Radio Broadcasting Station of Thailand,
Phrae province, for joining the seminar.

King Rice Bran Oil at “Nutritionist & Dietician Annual Conference of 2009”
Thai Edible Oil exhibited an informative booth at
the “Nutritionist & Dietician Annual Conference of 2009”.
The conference was on “Dietetic in a Changing World”.
The conference was held during 27-29 May 2009 at
Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok.

Hospital oraganised “Good Nutrition Good Health” seminar.
At the seminar Assoc. Prof. Dr. Munthana Pradipasen (right),
Lecturer, Nutrition Department, Faculty of Public Health, 
Mahidol University and Sub-committee of the
“Thai Food Good Heart” Program, gave a talk under the
topic of “Eating Habits and Potential Diseases”. Mr. Pravit
Santiwattana, Executive Director of Thai Edible Oil spoke
on the topic of “Goodness of Rice Bran Oil”, which
Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit leaded the seminar. The event was
held on 20 May 2009, at the Yean Phosuwan meeting room,
Sawanpracharak hospital, Nakhonsawan province.

Chulalongkorn University Outstanding Alumnus
On the 1st of February 2009, during Chulalongkorn
Chemistry Reunion, the Faculty of Chemistry, Department
of Science together with the Chemistry Alumni Club of
Chulalongkorn University  awarded the “Outstanding
Alumnus” recognition to Mr. Pravit Santiwattana,
the Executive Director of Thai Edible Oil,
at Sala Phra Kieo, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.

King Joined the Launching of Princess new Eco Shower Fryer
Central Trading Co., Ltd. invited Thai Edible Oil
to  join  the  launching  of  Princess new products. 
The highlight was the new Princess Eco Shower Fryer,
which has a unique oil spray system.  The event
was held during 3-11 February 2009 at Central Chidlom
Department Store, Bangkok. Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit,
the Marketing Director and Ms. Jitwalai Santiwatana,
the Assistance Executive Director of King Rice Bran Oil
welcomed Ms. Chadchawan Markboonprasit, Princess’s
Product Manager  (2nd from left) and  Mr. Keingsak

Cooking Show with King Rice Bran Oil
On the 6th of February, Ms. Yosinee Na Nakorn,
Princess Brand Ambassador of Thailand demonstrated
frying cooking show; using new Princess Eco Shower
Fryer. There were also cooking demonstrations from 
Thai celebrities. King Rice Bran Oil which has
a high smoke point was used during the demonstration
of the new Princess Eco Shower Fryer.

Cooking Oils to the Healthiest Way with King Rice Bran Oil”.
The  session  received  well responses  and
King Rice Bran Oil’s souvenir was given away to
the consumers.

On 11 February 2009, King Rice Bran Oil had
special sales promotion of “Happy Heart Gift Set”
for ST. Valentine’s Day, at Maleenon Building,
Bangkok. At this opportunity Mrs.Busakorn Onpradit,
the Marketing Director of Thai Edible Oil gave
a King Happy Heart Gift Set to Mr. Prapat Sornlum,
 the Advisor of Public Relation Department of ThaiTV3.

King joined New Year Gift Exhibition at Phramongkutklao Hospital
On the 22 December 2008, King Rice Bran Oil joined
New Year Gift Exhibition  (Goods for Health), 
at Phramongkutklao Hospital, Bangkok. At the event
King Rice Bran Oil was on sale at special price.

“Food for Heart” activity arranged by King, 4 Care and Select
King Rice Bran Oil in cooperation with 4 Care Cereal
Cream and Select Tuna organized “Food for Heart” Activity.
At the event the Marketing Director of King Rice Bran Oil
Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit and the General Manager of 4 Care,
Mrs. Bhiramon Chuprapawan, gave general knowledge
about fat and oil as well as introduced Food for Heart
Products. The event was held on 20 December 2008,
at Supermarket zone of The Mall Department store,
Bangkae, Bangkok.

King joined “The 22nd Heart Week Fair” at Central Plaza
Lady Sumalee Chatikawanich, the first vice-chairman
of Thai Heart Foundation under the Royal Patronage gave
an honour to open the 22nd Heart Week Fair. Mrs. Busakorn
Onpradit, the Marketing Director of King Rice Bran Oil,
welcomed the Lady as well as gave King Rice Bran Oil gift set
as a souvenir during her visit. The event was held at Central
Plaza, Pin-klao from 9-15 September 2008.

from Thai Heart Foundation under the Royal Patronage
together with Miss Thailand Universe Year 2008 were
enjoying the delicious banana cake that has King Rice
Bran Oil as one of the ingredients.

King Hosted “Good Nutrition Good Health” Seminar at Phaholpolpayuhasena Hospital
Thai Edible Oil in collaboration with Phaholpolpayuhasena
hospital  hosted  “Good  Nutrition  Good  Health”  seminar. 
At  the  beginning  of  the  seminar  the  hospital  director 
Dr. Supio Eungwijanpanya (middle) gave an honorable
openign speech, as well as took photo with the speakers, 
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Munthana  Prateepasain  (left)  and 
Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit. The  event  was  held  at 
Phaholpolpayuhasena hospital on 6 August 2008.

During  the seminar there  were  body  fats  and
body  liquid  level  measurement  activity  as  well  as
presentation of an informative booth for the participants.

King’s 30th Anniversary gave 80 Scholarships
For Celebrating 30 years of King Rice Bran Oil,
Thai  Edible  Oil Co., Ltd  gives  80  scholarships  for  3 
consecutive years. The scholarship is for primary school
students, in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya education district 2,
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province. In this opportunity
Ms. Parida Kulrungroj  (2nd  from  left)  the  Director  of 
Education  Phra  Nakhon  Si  Ayutthaya  district  2,  
was a  representative  in  receiving  the  scholarships, 
on 22nd May 2008.

Congratulation to Thai Edible Oil in Achieving ISO 9001:2000 Certification
Thai Edible Oil is now ISO 9001:2000 certified by
SGS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Miss Wanna Pornsalanuwat (left)
and Mr. Wechayan Thanabodeepat (middle) representatives
from SGS (Thailand) Co., Ltd. presented the certification marks
to Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (right), the Executive Director of
Thai Edible Oil.

Thai Edible Oil executive received the “Outstanding Alumnus of the Year.”
Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (left),  the  Executive Director of
Thai  Edible  Oil  Co., Ltd.,    receives    the     “Outstanding 
Alumnus  of  the  year 2007”  recognition  by  the Faculty of
Science,   Chulalongkorn  University,    from    Prof. Charas
Suwanwela,  M.D. (right),  the  Chairman  of  the  University
Council,   Chulalongkorn  University.   The  ceremony  was
held  on   27   January, 2007   at   the   Alumni   Party  90th
anniversary Faculty of Science.

King: The Supplier of the Year 2005/2006
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd. was awarded the “Supplier of the
Year 2005/2006” by Sun Valley (Thailand) Ltd. This Award is
in  recognition of  the supplier’s  outstanding  contributions  to
product quality,  on time delivery,  corrective action, company
rules, and services. Sun Valley (Thailand) Ltd. is a big poultry
processing business  owned by Cargill. It is one of  Thailand’s 
top ten frozen chicken exporters.

“King – High Oryzanol” The winner of the National Innovation Awards 2006 in Economics
Mr. Prasop  Santiwatana (left)  and  Mr.  Pravit Santiwattana
(middle), the Executive Directors of Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd.
received    the   Gold   National   Innovation  Award   in   the 
economics category for King Rice Bran Oil – High Oryzanol
from Dr. Saksit Tridech (right),  the  Permanent  Secretary of 
the Ministry of  Science and Technology  and  the Chairman
of  the  National Innovation Board.  The  event  was held on
“The  National  Innovation  Day”   October 5,  2006  at  The 
National Queen Sirikit Convention Center.
