คิง ร่วมออกบูธงาน “การประชุมวิชาการนักกำหนดอาหาร ประจำปี 2551”

จากน้ำมันรำข้าวคิง  ในงาน  “การประชุมวิชาการนักกำหนดอาหาร 
ประจำปี 2551”  เรื่อง  “การประเมินตนเองสู่การเป็นนักกำหนดอาหาร
วิชาชีพ” ระหว่างวันที่ 21-23 เมษายน 2551 ณ โรงแรมแอมบาสเดอร์
กรุงเทพฯ  ภายในบูธมีนักกำหนดอาหารให้ความสนใจสอบถาม
เป็นอย่างมาก ในเรื่องคุณประโยชน์ของน้ำมันรำข้าวคิง

King Rice Bran Oil joined the event at Vibhavadi Hospital
King Rice Bran Oil,  the healthy and  heart-friendly oil
joined “Care for Health & Care for your loved one Exhibition”
at Vibhavadi Hospital from 14-15 February 2008. There were
lots of activities and games for visitors.

King Rice Bran Oil Joined Conference by Department of Science Service
Mr. Pravit Santiwattana, the Executive Director of
Thai Edible Oil was an invited speaker during “Readiness
of  Thai  Products in  the World’s  Competitive  Market”
Conference. Mr. Pravit had spoken under the topic of 
“Roles of Science and Technology that Effect Changes
in Rules and Standards of Thai Products”. The event
was held at the Department of Science Service meeting
room, on 30th January 2008.

King’s 30th Anniversary Scholarships for staff’s children
On 26 January 2008 Thai Edible Oil held staff 2008
New Year Party. During the party Mr. Prasop Santiwatana,
the  Executive  Director  of  Thai Edible Oil presented
scholarships to some of the staffs on behalf of their children.
There were total of 172 scholarships given to staff’s children
from  Kindergarten  level up to  Master’s degree level.
The party was held at Panorama Ballroom,  Amari Boulevard
Hotel Bangkok.

King joined “Value Adding to Fat and Oil” Seminar.
Mr. Pravit Santiwattana, the Executive Director of
Thai Edible Oil was a guest speaker of Faculty of Agricultural
Industry, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang
in “Value Adding to Fat and Oil” Seminar. The spoken topic
was “Micronutrient in Rice Bran Oil”, the event was held on
22 January 2008 at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology
Ladkrabang. There were many representatives form
government and private sectors interested and participated
in the seminar.

King Welcomed Students from Mahidol University
On 22 January 2008 a group of Master Degree’s and
Doctor of  Philosophy  Students of Food and  Nutrition for
Development (International Program) from Mahidol University
visited King Rice Bran Oil Production Plant in Samutprakarn.
The excursion was guided through production process and
quality assurance of King Rice Bran Oil by our production
manager.

King New Year Greeting to Heart Foundation Thailand
Dr. Sawanya Dateudom (middle) and  Ms. Sujintana
Cholvicharn, from the committee of “Thai Food Good Heart
Program” welcomed Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit, the Marketing
Director of Thai Edible Oil for the New Year Greeting visit at
the Thai Heart Foundation office. During the visit on 
17 January 2008, Mrs. Busakorn presented “King High
Oryzanol” New Year Gift Set to the committee.

King as an invited lecturer for Mater Degree’s Students at Mahidol University
On 13 December 2007  Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit,  the
Marketing Director of Thai Edible Oil gave a lecture on
“Media in Nutrition Promotion” to Master Degree’s students
of Public Health, Mahidol University. The spoken topic
received a well response from students.

King joined workshop with GMM Fitness Club
In December 2007 King Rice Bran Oil joined workshop
of GMM Fitness Club. At the event  Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit,
the Marketing Director of Thai Edible Oil was a guest speaker
under the topic of “Get Healthy by Eating Right Food for
the Right Age”.

There were cooking demonstrations of healthy menus,
including “Multigrains Salad with Lemon and Mustard
Dressing” and Stir - fried Green Curry  with Tuna
Canapé. The main ingredients used were “Select”
tuna, “4 Care” cereal cream and “King” Rice Bran Oil.
Those ingredients received Food for Heart Logo from
 the Heart Foundation Thailand.

King’s 30th Anniversary Public Conference
On  27  November  2007 Thai Edible Oil hosted  30th
Anniversary Public Conference On “Catching Up with Current
Health Trend”. M.R. Punnipa Chandratat (second from right),
the President of the Mahidol Nutrition Club participated in the
conference as well as gave an opening speech. There were
many distinguished speakers participated in the conference.
The speakers were Asst. Prof. Rewadee Chongsuwat
(middle) Lecturer from the  Nutrition Department, Faculty of
Public Health, Mahidol University,  Asst. Prof. Dr. Tippayanate
Ariyapitipan Lecturer from the  Faculty of Allied Health Science
and a staff member of The Lipid and Fat Sciences Research
Center (LiFARC),  Chulalongkorn University,  Mr. Kirk
Scarborough (left), the President of Double 7 Products Inc.,
USA, and Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (second from left), the
Executive Director of Thai Edible Oil. The event was held at
Grand Ballroom, The Emerald Hotel, Bangkok.

(left) lecturer  from the Department of Food Technology, 
Faculty of Science,  Chulalongkorn University,

The lecturers were also our distinguished guests for 
Exclusive interviews in the King 30th anniversary souvenir
book.

The conference had received a well response from
nearly 300 participants. There were many technical and
health related issues discussed.

King Rice Bran Oil gives away 1,000 Ratatouille DVD in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Disney latest Pixar animation “Ratatouille” was launched
in the Dutch cinemas in late August. The official release of 
the DVD for home entertainment is 12 December 2007,
as per this date King Rice Bran Oil is giving away 1,000 
Ratatouille DVD in The Netherlands and Belgium by lottery.
The on pack promotion sticker is guiding the buyer to visit 
www.rijstolie.info for more information. Currently there is 
a daily average of 93 buyers participating in this promotion.

King hosted a Public Conference for Senior Association at the Bangkok Christian Hospital
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Munthana Prateepasain, a sub-
committee and secretary of the “Thai Food Good Heart”
Program which was organized by The Heart Foundation of
Thailand under The Royal Patronage and Faculty of Public
Health, Mahidol University was invited to present on  the 
topic of  “Nutritional Regime and Cardiovascular Disease
Prevention” to the members of Bangkok Christian Hospital
Senior Association.The presentation was held during the
Public Conference on  “Good Nutrition…Good Health for
the Elderly”, at the Bangkok Christian Hospital, Bangkok.
The event was organized on 16th October 2007,  by 
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd.

King Participated in “InnoMart 2007”
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., exhibited King Rice Bran Oil
booth at “InnoMart 2007”. There were plenty of people visited
King Rice Bran Oil booth and asked for health information.

On the 5th October Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (right),
the Executive Director of Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd. was
a guest speaker of an open discussion on the Innovation
Talk Stage under the topic of  “Strategy in Developing
Innovative Foods and Herbs”. During the discussion, 
Mr. Pravit had shared his success on King Rice Bran Oil -
High Oryzanol that received 2006 National Innovation Award
in the economics category.The event was held between 
4th -7th October 2007, at Hall 4, IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani,
Bangkok.

King health activities during “National Science and Technology Fair 2007”
On the 8th August 2007 King Rice Bran Oil hosted
a health talk under the topic of “Eat Smart…Study Smart”
during  “National Science and Technology Fair 2007”. 
The event was held at Bangkok International & Exhibition
Centre (BITEC), Bangkok. Mrs. Busakorn Onpradit (right),
the Marketing Director of Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., was 
a speaker. A guest speaker Asst. Prof. Dr.Rewadee
Chongsuwat (left), from the Department of Nutrition,
Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University was also
invited. There were large number of students and teachers
interested in the talk.

There were also cooking demonstrations of  “Roti
Stuffed with Chicken Salad” and “Fruit Salad with Lemon
Dressing”. The selected menus were specially suited for
students that required plenty of nutrients as well as energy
for learning.

King Rice Bran Oil at the Thai Heart Week Fair

The  event  was  held  on  11-16  September  2007  at 
Central Plaza, Pinklao branch.

Mrs.Busakorn Onpradit, the Marketing Director of
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., demonstrated a healthy menu,
Tuna Green Curry Canape. The main ingredients
used are certified by Thailand Heart Foundation, which
including King Rice Bran Oil, 4 Care Cereal Cream and
Sealect Tuna Steak in Spring Water.

Khun Boonyawee Sukkunworased also visited
King Rice Bran Oil booth at the Thai Heart Week Fair.

Mrs.Bussakorn Onpradit, the  Marketing  Director
of Thai  Edible  Oil Co., Ltd.,  welcomed  Dr.Orawan
Puchaiwattananun from Ramathibodi Hospital, during
her visit at  King Rice Bran Oil booth.

King Rice Bran Oil joined Thailand Research Expo 2007 by National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)
Mr.Pravit Santiwattana, the Executive Director of
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., was one of the panelists to
discussed  about  “Value Added of Thai Rice”  in
Thailand Research Expo 2007. The event took placed
at Bangkok Convention, Central World on 9 September
2007.

King Rice Bran Oil at the Brown Rice for Health Exhibition
Dr.Sumet Tantivejkul, the President of Thai Rice
Foundation under Royal Patronage, opened Brown Rice
for Health Exhibition and was welcomed by Ms.Korn-uma
Koenpetch, Marketing Promotion Manager of 
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., at King rice bran oil booth on 
7 September 2007.

King Rice Bran Oil Joined “Metabolic Syndrome Camp” by Phramongkutklao Hospital
Mrs. Korn-uma Koenpetch, the Marketing Promotion
Manager of Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., welcomed Major
General  Kittipol  Bhakachotanont,  Director  of 
Phramongkutklao Hospital at King Rice Bran Oil booth
and  took the opportunity to present a  souvenir to the
Major General Kittipol during his visit. The event  was
held on 27th August 2007 at Phramongkutklao Hospital.

Sharing Decoding Managing Strategy with Kasikorn Bank
K-bank hosted “Decoding Managing Strategy in
2007” seminar,  aimed for SME business in Chiangmai and
Chiangrai. Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (middle),  the Executive
Director of Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., was given as honor to
discuss about an achievement of  King Rice Bran Oil under
the topic  “Business Strategy & K SME”.  The event was
held on 8th August 2007 at Dusit Island Resort, Chiangrai.

King Rice Bran Oil Joined the 120th Anniversary of Japan – Thailand Diplomatic Relations (Agricultural)
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd  was  one  of  the  four
representatives from private sector that had been invited
by Rice Department to exhibit King Rice Bran Oil together
with  rice  bran  oil  that  Thai  Edible  Oil  exports  to  the 
Japanese market.
       Professor. Thira Suthabutra, the Minister of Agriculture
&  Cooperatives  visited  King  Rice  Bran  Oil  booth,  and 
received information about King Rice Bran Oil that are sold
domestically and rice bran oil that are exported to Japan.

Mr. Bunphot Hongthong, the Permanent Secretary of
Ministry  of  Agriculture  &  Cooperatives  visited  King
Rice Bran Oil booth, and had a small discussion about
benefits of rice bran oil.

Mr. Hideaki Kobayashi, an Ambassador Extraordinary
and  Plenipotentiary  to  the  Kingdom  of  Thailand  visited 
King Rice Bran Oil booth  and was greeted by  Ms. Jitwalai
Santiwatana,  the  Assistance  Executive  Director  of 
Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd.  The  exhibition  was  held  at 
Kasetsart University, from the 2-5 July 2007.

King joined Innovative Designing and Branding Seminar
Mr. Pravit Santiwattana (middle), the Executive Director
of Thai Edible Oil Co., Ltd., was one of the panelists to share
his innovative success in the Gold National Innovative Award
in Economics Category for  King Rice Bran Oil - High Oryzanol
at the “4th Innovation for New Business” seminar. The event
was held on  24th July 2007  at Grand Ball Room, 
Miracle Grand Hotel, Bangkok.
