Nutritional Benefits of King Rice Bran Oil

 

 

King Rice Bran Oil outranks other edible oils for its great nutritional significance, making it a truly health oil.

 

 

1. Naturally rich in Vitamin E (Tocopherol and Tocotrienol)
Both types of Vitamin E are antioxidants that fight free radicals, a major cause of cancer. Tocotrienol not only outperforms Tocopherol in preventing oxidation, it also effectively helps lower blood cholesterol level 1.

2. High in Oryzanol
Oryzanol is a powerful natural antioxidant found only in rice bran oil, not in other vegetable oils. In addition to its greater ability to fight free radicals than Vitamin E, studies on nutrition also found that Oryzanol is effective in lowering the blood 2 cholesterol level, and treating menopause 3.

3. High in Monounsaturated Fatty Acid (MUFA)
This helps lower LDL-C, the bad cholesterol, which causes blood clot, and helps maintain or increase HDL-C, the good cholesterol.

4. Most suitable fatty acids profile
To reduce risk of diseases such as heart and cardiovascular diseases, it is recommended that the daily diet has the ideal SFA to MUFA to PUFA ratio of < 10 : 10-15 : < 10 1. Compared to other vegetable oils, King Rice Bran Oil matches the composition closest of all.

5. No synthetic antioxidant added
As King Rice Bran Oil is rich in natural antioxidants including Vitamin E (Tocopherol and Tocotrienol), and Oryzanol, there is no need for synthetic antioxidant.

6. Produced from non-GMO Thai rice
Because King Rice Bran Oil is produced from non-GMO Thai rice, it is a preferable alternative for consumers who are concerned about GMO products.

7. Virtually 0% of trans fatty acid
Consumption of trans fatty acid increases LDL-C, a primary risk factor of coronary heart disease (CHD). Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils are high in trans fatty acid. Normal vegetable oils have small amount of trans fatty acid depending on oil type and production condition. King Rice Bran Oil is produced using advanced technology under close supervision, resulting in virtually 0% trans  fatty acid. 8. High smoke point
King Rice Bran Oil has a high smoke point of 245-257 degrees Celsius or 473-495 degrees Fahrenheit, which is higher than those of other vegetable oils.  Because of its very high smoke point, King Rice Bran Oil is excellent for sautéing, stir-frying, deep-frying, and baking.
